At one point – technology and privacy

I imagine we will have absolutely no privacy. I imagine it to be at the point we are all retrofitted with electronics in our brain. So we can then have an onboard computer and a screen with all the information we could need or use in front of us. Instead of a phone, it would all in happen directly in our head.

Then everyone’s data would be carried on ones person and others could easily scan us for whatever information they wanted.

So, for example, if you’re at a restaurant the staff can grade you as much as you can grade them. So instead of just reviewing places we also review each other.

And this information is accessible to those we wish it to be at our discretion. But we all know the government and hackers can get their hands on anything and everything so yea….. no real privacy whatsoever.

Employers can look at a complete profile of you from credit to dating to charitable activities all in one database.

This could also be used by dates. This could be used by landlords, hotels, credit card companies to see how worthy of being a patron you are.

This computer profile would be your entire self. But don’t worry too much, I’m sure some backwater sources will gladly scrub it clean to for an exorbitant amount of money.

I truly believe this is coming in some form pretty soon here. I’m just not looking forward to living in it. Not at all……

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but it’s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew myself...here that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol
