I translated the song that led to my name.

I was named after the singer of this song because my mom liked it and it was popular at the time. I had asked my very conservative mother why she named me after a hippy revolutionary song and she had no answer for that. I always found it so strange.

I probably could have just looked up the translation but it meant more for me to translate it myself.

So here it is: Rosas en el Mar by Massiel

Roses in the Ocean

I’m looking for a love
That wants to understand
Happiness and agony
Pain and pleasure

A beautiful love without end
That forgets in order to forgive

It’s easier to find
Roses in the ocean (chorus)

I’m looking for the reason
To so much falsehood
Lies are an obsession
And truth is false
Who loses? Who wins?
When everything passes (or happens)

I’m asking for liberty
No one wants to listen
It’s a necessity
To live
Freedom, freedom
The right of humanity

I’m looking for a place
hidden in the sea
Where I can forget
The evils of the world
Searching for solitude
To live in peace

It’s easier to find
Roses in the ocean

My mother’s name was Dolores, which while a beautiful name literally translates to pains. And in some strange subconscious way my mother always suffered from something physical. Whether it was asthma, arthritis, on and on…. something always seemed wrong.

And I wonder if there is something to that. I wonder if this song seeped its way into my subconscious also, and has had its own effect on my life. I can’t say. But it’s an interesting thought.

Beautiful day out. Soon to be a no device afternoon.

Enjoy your dayโฃ๏ธ

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but itโ€™s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol

  1. this does seem so You “Iโ€™m looking for a love
    That wants to understand
    Happiness and agony
Pain and pleasure” the Domme in you striving to come looking for love your way and as it should be.
Your Mom knew from the start maybe even as she carried you in her womb.. Ah the thoughts and if we only could figure the universe out. The mystery of it all. some THC candy and maybe it will come to us.
    Peace n Love
