I went to sleep with a headache and woke up with a migraine. As you can imagine, I slept horribly.
Now fortunately I have some sure fire home remedies for migraines. But doing anything, and I do mean anything, during a severe migraine episode is like trying to do water aerobics with heavy anchors on all your limbs.
So I rolled myself out of bed and tried my first one. Sinus rinse with colloidal silver. This helps clear the sinuses, helps with the pressure and starts to break down any infection or build-up. It helped a little, but not enough.
So then we move on to the coffee enema. This gives one a small caffeine boost and also clears out any toxins that may be in the colon aggravating the situation. This one usually hits the spot. But I can already tell this is a stubborn little episode.
Next we have an orgasm and THC. However I did catch wind of a new one I may try first: a deep bath. You take a bath and submerge your head as deep as you can holding it down as long as you can. The pressure is supposed to help. It’s worth a try. And with the kids home I am not sure how to get an orgasm in.
Hide in the bathroom and run the water? 🙄 THC during the day is something I reserve exclusively for heavy migraines that I have tried everything else on first. I take a microdose and lay down. I usually fall asleep and wake up fine.
However migraines are the only ailment I get that give me hangovers. So if I have a 2 day migraine I usually get a 1-2 day hangover. This is a time where I’m exhausted, a little groggy and I can feel a dull throbbing where the pain was.
It’s really not pain at all, as much as if my body is trying to repair the area and I can feel exactly where the pressure was and it feels very sensitive. Which is hard to explain and possibly understand as I’m talking about something happening in my brain that I can’t see, but that’s what it feels like.
Now thankfully I only get them a handful of times a year. And because I’ve gotten them since I was 13 I’ve learned to manage them. Not that I haven’t tried scripts and OTC medicine. Just that they don’t work for me. And my remedies have no side effects and additional benefits. Just takes time and effort to run through them.
Eventually something always works. Thank God because I’ve literally contemplated hitting my head against the wall to relieve the pressure before and had to go to emergency for morphine. That was a good time. 🤤😋
Oh and it turns out I was right. I had read that article months back about smokers getting COVID-19 less than the general public and they thought it was the nicotine. So I started using nicotine gum to help with the light-headedness I was feeling, and it helped. Right? So come to find out one of the vaccines they are making has caffeine in it for resilience against Coronavirus. Yep, yep.
