Busy beautiful fall day

I have a few eBay clients I need to contact today.

A psychology appointment.

And I’m going to the gym.

Today is also the last of the 3 girls birthdays. Which are all within a 30 day span, marking the beginning of fall for our family.

I’ve struggled to do just the bare minimum for them this year: gift, special meal, cake.

And it’s fine. It isn’t a typical year and it is ok that this reflects that. I’m doing my best here. I hope they get that.

Usually by the time we get to this birthday I’ve already done so much that some years I slack off a bit here. But this year I feel like I can ramp it up a little. Maybe.

I don’t know though. I have a full day and she won’t be home until late.

I’d love to take a long bath but today is probably not that day.

Presents to still wrap.

Maybe I’ll go lay in the hammock a bit and let myself daydream, see if I can come up with something.
