I love philosophy. I love studying religions, spiritual customs and beliefs. I love psychology. I also love science, I simply don’t put as much credence into it as most people tend to I think. Knowing that everything is subject to change and our vantage of reality is truly very small.
What I see is a world of almost limitless possibilities. A world limited only by lack of imagination.
I am passionate about people because they are my favorite thing about living. And I am determined to try to make life better for everyone, for all of humanity, not just myself and my children; as much as I can at least.
I think the way I do and act the way I behave because I see so much more to this existence than we are told and taught to see and I love exploring it all.
I read this today and it intrigued me greatly.
“true philosophers, people who were so passionate about discovering new ideas that nothing could stop them from pursuing them. “Philosophy” literally means “love of wisdom.” Most people would never reach this level, but those who did should rule the world — because they love and understand unchanging truth.“*
What I say in this blog, comes out of a place of deep admiration of the world and gratitude for living and an exploration and understanding of it.
This place is far from perfect, but it is home and I do love it.
And even if I don’t see it as most people seem to; I know there are so very few absolutes here, and that makes it easy to not get too attached to any of it.
But I do still intend to keep living this life to the fullest capacity I can.
And so I say, as Jonathan Swift did
“May you truly live all the days of your life” as well.
