I had to do this today for not one but two people. SMH. π
Consider that most of these points are valid, even if you don’t agree with all of them and dismissing it only adds to the problem.

Do with that what you will. π€·π½ββοΈ
Be part of the problem or be part of the solution. Those are your only choices really and turning a blind eye is being part of the problem unfortunately.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing.
Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but itβs also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew myself...here that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol

as a side note this happened in a Walgreens(downtown Chicago). i am a dark skin male Hispanic. i noticed this over weight white dude lurking behind meas i walked thru the store. Yes i was dressed inf lip flops cut off shorts and t-hirt. As i was standing in line a check out, a very attractive white female( high heels short dress) started walking out the door. She apparently was not going to buy anything. Here’s the white privilege at its best. Dude that was following me walks up to her and says very politely “excuse Miss did you forget to but those 2 items you put in your purse?’ She giggled and said ” oh silly me i forgot let me get in line” His response was “have a nice day” .
Can’t for the life of me see that happening to anyone of color.
sorry for the long response.
