She laughed

We were talking about the LGBTQIA community. I said “I have no issue with any of them. But some have had issues with me. I have had to be careful of some gay men, because some hate women more than straight men do.”.

Why people laugh at the things I say I’ll never understand. I guess it was funny. Obviously not all straight men hate women….. thankfully. And I’ve met women that hate women….so really. Plenty to go around. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‹

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but it’s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol

  1. It’s quite true that some gay men hate women and some gay women hate men. Nothing new here but in the great sexuality debate, the LG part conveniently never mentions how messy their house is… and remains to be. Methinks some people might find you saying that funny because, to their ears, it sounds funny because they don’t see what you see and, as far as they know, the LGBTQ+ community is unified across the board and they just “love” and respect everyone and regardless to sexuality.

I’m sure those worthy community leaders, themselves, may not be privy to, say, some of the things I’ve heard gay men say about women – especially the effeminate ones, which cracks me up because they seem to have a lot of angst against the very same women they work very hard to behave like and many try to out-woman the real thing.

A lesbian woman got shredded by her peer group because she had sex with a man in order to get pregnant – IVF ain’t cheap and she wasn’t a good candidate to adopt. Not only did they brand her a traitor to the lesbian cause, some of the things they said about men pissed me off… and they weren’t talking about me; I happened to be in the “wrong” place at the “right” time to witness the poor woman getting her head handed to her.

So I kinda don’t get why someone would find what you say about this to be funny… because it’s anything but funny.

    1. I guess to some people the truth pointed out to casually when most people don’t even talk about it, let alone so matter of factly is comical? But you’re right. The hate is real is real and quite ugly in all circles.
