Ants – spiritual conspiracy

When I was young I was afraid of simple, small, ordinary black ants. I would cry having to enter our house because there was always a path of them outside, in the crack under the door.

I have a lot of ants in my house and I really detest killing them. So it got me to thinking though…..

what if….

let’s say reincarnation is real and we come back to this planet time and time again to reach our spiritual peak…..

what if our spiritual peak is being an ant?

What if ants have free will and conscious thought and with that choice they decide to cohabitate in a form that benefits the greater good and the entire universe they inhabit?

What if the symbiosis ants form with their environment, nature, other animals and amongst themselves is a conscious way of living?

They do this not because they have no choice, but because they see that as the best choice; because the well-being of everything and everyone is a conscious decision they make, because they have reached a point where they have completely let go of their ego?

It just strikes me as hysterically funny that the tiny things we completely disregard as a nuisance and inconvenience; that we are so unapologetic in killing may be the most supreme beings on this planet.

But I have funny thoughts.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but it’s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew myself...here that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol

  1. There was a show in the 60’s that had reincarnation as a theme. It was called “My Mother,The Car”. I still can sing the theme song. The owner of an antique car discovers that his mother’s soul has migrated in to the antique car. Kinda like your ants.

      1. Was not nearly as funny in execution. I think it came along after Bewitched but before I Dream Of Jeannie. Jerry van Dyke played the car owner. Ann Sothern was the voice of “Mom” . Ann Sothern did most of her work before 1964.
