And now this *edited

Okay but truthfully if the government is going to spend so much money on the military, the wall, NASA, infrastructure and bailouts of farmers, banks, the exchange and not fund healthcare, student aid and small businesses then what use would adding more taxes be? Might as well let the rich decide where they allocate their tax benefit write-offs. Better than the many who hide their money away in semi-illegal, fully illegal and who knows if no one is watching “tax shelter” places. 🙄😬 I’d laugh but it doesn’t seem funny to me really. None of the absurdity of it all. All of it.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but it’s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew myself...here that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol

  1. For as long as I can remember, there’s always been a huge push to get the very rich to pay their fair share of taxes instead of letting everyone else bear that burden and we know that the very rich will do anything in their power to keep from doing that and to the point where they’d happily go to jail – after making a deal that will cut down the amount owed.

But where is the money going? We also know it’s not going where it should be. As a military veteran, it disturbs me to see how much military spending has been hacked to pieces and more so when, here of late, we’ve become the world’s enforcers and while it’s been said that an army travels on its stomach, it takes money and materiel to deploy our armed forces when and where needed.

A lot of the crime we have is due to the lack of social programs that, when we had them, kept young folks out of trouble by giving them something to do – and that included programs that gave them jobs and put them to work. Our public school system used to be the best in the world… and now it’s a joke and, again, because funding has been slashed.

I could go on and on for days about this – but I won’t; it’s just obvious that if we need taxes to do stuff, the very rich should be digging deep and paying them like everyone else is and that includes many corporations and businesses, many of which owe their fiscal largess to write-offs and special breaks in the amount of taxes they have to pay.

Recall how the very rich (and businesses) pitched a bitch when the IRS code got rewritten in an attempt to make them pony up their lawful share of the tax burden; so if the data are correct, we are just now really seeing the results of the code rewrite – they’re being made to paid, not able to hide so much unless they do so illegally, but the question remains: Where’s the money really going?
