NYTimes: Why Are Native Hawaiians Protesting Against a Telescope?

We want to destroy more parts of the only planet we have to look for what exactly? More planets? Because the hundreds of satellites that surround the earth now, the telescopes we already have, the research we are already doing now isn’t enough. Let’s desecrate more sacred land. That makes perfect sense. Doesn’t it?

Anyone ever seen the images of all the satellites and space debris we have orbiting the earth? The images are shocking. I don’t know how true it is, since I’ve not been into outer space myself yet, but knowing this planets track record on pollution I consider it more than a possibility.

When the native Hawaiians protested against Monsanto a few years back no one wanted to listen. They lost that battle for their own lands to not be subjected to pesticides and chemicals because of corporate interests and lobbying.

Money and power aren’t inherently evil, but they sure do seem to travel in the same circles a lot.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but it’s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew myself...here that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol
