As you all know I am absolutely fascinated by digestion and by the miracle of the human body and how much the body wants to be in a state of homeostasis. Manipulation of the microbiome (the good/bad bacteria in the colon – mostly) is the next revolution in healthcare. They are already showing miraculous results for mental disorders, autism, it has already been proven to be the only cure for c-diff, and so much more.
Not that this is foolproof. Unfortunately as a society we have very poor quality microbiota, which is also why I completely don’t understand why they are taking adult human samples for this and not babies. Babies exclusively breastfed from mothers eating organic diets literally have seeds in their poo. These seeds are exactly what the body needs to populate healthy bacteria. Like literally. So it makes no sense to me at all.
Now obviously even then the samples should be very thoroughly tested for as many health markers as possible because it can also transfer bad things. Someone recently told me it had passed on MS that way and a patient just recently died from being given a superbug that way. Maybe we should even consider outsourcing to a country that eats much cleaner and has a better environment altogether, although I can’t say where that would be.
A naturopath recently asked me if I could do transplants would I and I very quickly practically shouted “absolutely!”. I’ve thought about it extensively. It is very much needed. The microbiome is our immune system. It is our roadmap to homeostasis. It is what keeps some people healthy amidst a sea of unhealthy people.
Unfortunately I don’t see a lot of money to be made here though, which is also probably why they are seemingly trying to regulate it out of existence. But people poo, laboratories exist, one could easily do this on their own and no one can stop you. So really. 🙄🙄🙄
It frustrates me how inept our healthcare system is. How abysmally slow and corrupt it is. I’ve known about this for almost a decade and it is just barely coming into the fringe of the mainstream and even then it seems to still be completely misunderstood. When I learned about it there was still a lot of information I didn’t personally understand about the ecosystem of the body. But now that all seems very common sense information.
It makes me so sad when I talk to doctors who seem to know very little about digestion and the microbiome and how to achieve homeostasis. But I get it…it’s the people in the trenches that have the most incentive and the most hands on experience and probably more drive and determination to find the answer since so many of us that help others also have or have had our own issues.
I’m not saying this is the only way. But this is going to be proven to be an easy and effective way to treat things we seem to currently think can’t be cured. Mark my words!!
Part of me is at least very grateful that big corporations that have been knowingly compromising public health and safety like Monsanto (now Bayer) and Johnson and Johnson are finally coming to pay the price for it. But that is a drop in the bucket to what is really going on. To how compromised our environment, the products we use daily and the food we ingest really are. But at least it’s waking people up and that is a blessing in itself.
Change only happens when we speak up; when we stand up for what we know is right. I’m not asking for a violent revolution here. I’m asking for people to really see and open their hearts and minds; which will benefit everyone and all of mankind.
We are onekind. We are ONE. But……that’s so far off, if ever, that I have so little hope of ever seeing that wave of humanity, love and compassion in my lifetime. But a girl can dream…can’t she?
