First business $

Some businesses especially liquor stores and immigrant owned businesses tend to put the first money they made on the wall. It’s symbolic and sentimental. I was waiting*. It took me two years to find my bill and it wasn’t even a client. It’s a letter from a young girl I spoke to at the middle school a few weeks ago.

Here it is. It brought tears to my eyes. I only ever so vaguely even remember saying it though, although it does sound like something I would say on a good day. Lol πŸ₯°. So here is my proverbial dollar hung proudly on my business wall. I’ll treasure this forever and the other kind kids notes that all pretty much said “it was gross, but informative, thank you for coming and talking to us”. Now I remember why people love thank you cards so much and that I am way overdue to send some out. πŸ’–πŸŒˆπŸ€—

*Most no one give me cash anyway.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but it’s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol

  1. We have nuclear weapons targeting Russia today, we have even after the Cold War ended. Yeah, you’re right they are like us. You should watch the Russia Orthodox Easter Liturgies on YT,

    1. The games the military plays are a bit outside of my control. So I focus on what I can control. Stupid people with power will make stupid decisions. I don’t care to get angry about these things. Ultimately I could die tomorrow from lightening. What I choose to focus on and love in life is what will give my life ultimate purpose and happiness.

War seems to be a human contagion. Now that vaccine I might approve of.

      2. What strikes me watching the Russians this morning is that the woman in the video is wearing the same colour robin’s egg blue nail polish as the server at our restaurant in Richmond was wearing last night.

      3. Family Lapkin on You TUBE She bought something at their version of Best Buy, some bit of Electronic equipment. Looks like a camera and tripod . She was taking it out of the package on the trunk of their Hyundai sedan. She could be doing this in America.

      4. We know so little about Russia and the Russians, yet we remained convinced that they are bad actors on the world stage. Our foreign policy consists of being ready, willing and able to annihilate the Russians.

      5. Wow. Really? Now I know we had that whole cold ear thing and they are our enemy of freedom thing but realistically……I’ve met Russians….we are all the same. We all love our children. We all want freedom. We all want to live our lives in peace. Right?

      6. I studied Russian in high school 50 years ago. I remember some of it. But their approach to language instruction wasn’t very good. We gained very little practical ability . This was long before the internet. Satellite communication was in its infancy too
