Vaccine Truth

Or as close as I can get to it, I suppose.

(Yes, I know you’re probably all sick of this, but I was asked for it by a reader so…. move on if you aren’t interested.๐Ÿ’‹)

A.

High autism rates in black boys* due to the MMR vaccine prompted whistleblowers within the CDC to come forward with what they said was a purposeful manipulation of data. (1)

B.

You are not allowed to sue doctors or manufacturers for any vaccine reactions, even death. Instead you must report to the vaccine injury compensation program(2), which first decides your case and from what I have researched is almost impossible to get into; let alone win.

C.

Herd immunity is not exactly accurate (3). An outbreak in 2014 was started by a vaccinated 22 year old and is proven by the simple fact that vaccinated children still can get diseases; like the measles.

D

It has been proven that chickens given vaccines induce the vaccines to mutate.(4) Just like antibiotics have created superbugs, vaccines are now creating super-diseases. This has also been shown to be true in humans.

“A scant number of people who got one version of the vaccine before it was phased out in 2016 carry a variant of the polio virus that was in that vaccine and has since mutated. The mutated virus can now be passed around in areas where few people have been vaccinated, sickening some along the way.”

This you can easily Google for yourself and while the stories claim complete new vaccine immunization is necessary, a simple, common sense extrapolation would assert that to not be true. Especially since (while demanding mandatory vaccines in the US that NO OTHER COUNTRY has such a high vaccine schedule as the US does) we can not impose our schedule on other countries… although pharmaceutical companies are trying and succeeding somewhat.

E.

The vaccine schedule from the 1980’s was very minimal and yet**….

F)

Availability of nutritious food, soap and clean water had a more significant impact on measles than vaccines. Chart below shows the containment percentage rate for measles.

Which is why even with vaccines, third world countries have a difficult time staving off diseases we have long eradicated. And as long as these exist in the world we will never have complete immunity because as we have seen above diseases mutate and the US is not a glass house. People travel to and from here with different levels of health and immunization.

G)

It is my general belief that the microbiome has more to do with whether a person exposed to a disease will be immune to it or not. While I am absolutely not saying no vaccines I am saying that we need to be smarter about it. We need more studies, as there have been no double blind vaccine studies to date. Long known as the medical gold standard for proof of efficacy AND demonstrates side effects. And while some would say the benefits outweigh the risks I’m sure the 26 children that have died from Gardisil would disagree.(5)

——

Personally I am actually for vaccines. I wanted to vaccinate my child against measles, mumps and rubella but I wanted them to be separate so the load would not be so high since her immune system from being a preemie and having digestive issues is not great. However that option is not available because it isn’t cost effective.

Yet now I am given no choice and little comfort should she suffer any adverse effects. Which most doctors would never associate anyway.

To me this entire thing makes little sense. It seems driven by money and the media supports it because that’s what they do. It’s absolutely not about the greater good. And with the EpiPen and opioid issue you’d think people would be more skeptical about the pharmaceuticals as well as the CDC agenda but whatever. I’m so tired of dealing with the idiocy of it.

Decades from now when we start mutating truly horrible diseases maybe someone will finally listen. Maybe.

*Now the two personal cases of autism due to the MMR vaccine are both boys but one was only half mixed black and the other white. So that’s not enough to assert anything, coincidence though? …….given the information present, maybe not.

**My generation had 36 total. My parents generation had 8. My children have more than double my generations when you add in the flu, whooping cough, hpv, meningitis, etc.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but itโ€™s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew myself...here that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol

  1. Hi. Read this finally. Thanks for responding. I don’t think I have the energy for something this heated anymore. You don’t have to do any more research you don’t want to do, sorry if I pushed you. I’ll read further comments but likely not respond. Thanks for sharing your view–I definitely agree that there should be more freedom of choice in ALL medical care, in both ways–having access to and not accepting access to life-changing medicine.

    1. Agreed. It’s so funny because I was just thinking of you today. I read an article that refuted herd immunity in a practical and easy to understand way. So much of scientific analysis isn’t in enough plain speak for laymen to comprehend and I think that needs to be reframed so that it is. Especially with things concerning health matters. Simplicity is vital.

Anyway. I agree with you though. I was kind of done discussing it. You didn’t push me. When one has to defend ones point it makes one acutely aware of the responsibility of that endeavor. And it rightfully makes one think about it more.

And you are absolutely right: access to a fax not accepting access to medicine is so important.

I remember once I went to the ER and they wanted me to sign away my rights to know and approve whatever drug doctors wanted to administer. Without my knowledge. I was not comatose or mentally incapable and I was appalled to be asked to sign it. I absolutely refused. It is my body. Mine. I get to dictate. That right is mine. I can’t believe I had to fight for it.

      1. I know. It absolutely does and I don’t think people realize how it starts. It starts with things people can easily “get behind” and then it just keeps going. More laws. More rules. More regulations. More big brother. More invasion of privacy. Until all our rights are gone ……. and then what?

        1984?

I’m not trying to sound the alarm. I think it’s almost too late really, but I try to at least persevere with the things I feel most strongly about and my body and my children’s health and well being is up top.

  2. 1. The article was redacted, which is suspicious. Obviously you could say conspiracy theory in favor of vaccines, I’m not gonna deny that. But it’s more suspicious, and in the other direction, because the redaction notice is empty; it would have been informative of them to explain why the methods were flawed.

    2. Your source is the website and “personal research”, which you do not explain. The process on the website is well-delineated. This says nothing about the odds of winning/losing.

    3. Michael Gaeta is a naturopath, with financial incentives in steering people away from traditional medicine.
    https://www.michaelgaeta.com/about-1

“There are two primary reasons why vaccinating oneself cannot protect others, and why failing to vaccinate cannot endanger others. The first is from the science of immunology, and we can describe it as waning antibody stimulation, post-vaccination. In short, vaccines only do one thing โ€“ stimulate antibody production to something similar but not the same as the infection. That antibody stimulation is temporary, lasting a few months or years. So the majority of the US population has had no so-called vaccine โ€œprotectionโ€ for several decades, without any resurgent epidemics of measles, mumps, pertussis, etc.”

This is entirely false. The human immune system has what is called adaptive immunity (or maybe that’s the wrong term, apologies), but basically a memory system, where it remembers what diseases it has faced and develops long-term strength against that disease in the future. This is the whole science behind vaccines. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adaptive_immune_system
Possible counterarguments: Why does adaptive immunity not work against the cold or flu. Immediate answer to the flu: it mutates and is different each year. The cold I would have to research.

“The second is from the science of population outcomes, or epidemiology. In all populations globally who have ever attained the ever-rising and completely arbitrary (read: made up) minimum threshold for vaccine uptake (% of a population who get vaccinated), outbreaks of vaccinated diseases still occur. This should, of course, be impossible, if herd immunity were actually true. In Part Two of this article, weโ€™ll take an honest, non-hysterical look at each of these in more detail. In the meantime, you can safely and responsibly ignore any of the sheeple who tell you it is irresponsible to not vaccinate.”

There’s nothing here. There’s no link to “part two”. The Next link at the bottom right is to a different topic. This is literally a paragraph with no evidence in it.

Herd immunity is founded in differential equations and the SIR model of epidemiology. Fucking outrageously, Google does not give good answers to this, but it’s in textbooks everywhere. S stands for susceptible, the absolute number or portion (depending on the style of model) of the population which is susceptible to the disease. I stands for infected total or proportion. R stands for recovered, those who have recovered from the disease. You can model the rate of infection using mathematics that I desperately want to explain to you but have since forgotten (learned in college) as well as the rate of recovery. This seems to be a pretty good article with some math in it: https://www.quantamagazine.org/flu-vaccines-and-the-math-of-herd-immunity-20180205/
If you really want a home-brew explanation of the differential equations behind herd immunity, I will literally buy a textbook on it, read it, and put a video up on youtube–because I think what’s up right now is crap.

    4. This is completely true. Evolution is a threat to vaccination, and leaky vaccines are dangerous period. Something bullshitty like you have to look at each pathogen on a case-by-case basis.

    5. This seems legit. The only sketch thing about this is there is no mention of statistics, a powerful tool for coming to conclusions. If you know the likelihood of a malady occurring naturally in a population, you can back out the probability it will happen in a given period of time within a population of a certain size. If this probability is extremely low, you have a convincing case for causation. I wonder why the article didn’t cite any of this analysis? Surely it was performed?

Sorry, looks like I argued your sources instead of your points.

    F. Then definitely the priority in first world countries should be hygiene first, before vaccination.

    E. The herd immunity thresholds are stated as having not been met but it is not stated what they are for DTP, Polio, and MMR. The mortality rate of the other diseases is not discussed and it is on the burden of the reader to know what they are.

Thanks for debating! I’m learning a lot and hopefully I can teach you something too.

    1. Busy today. I’ll look at all your points tomorrow and respond. Thanks for putting time and effort into this.

But I do want to clarify that there are no absolutes in life let alone medicine that changes as rapidly as technology.

That said I will look at what you have said, give it thought and respond.

1 note off hand. You discredit the naturopath because he has “incentive”. Is this not the exact same I could say about pharmaceutical companies. It is a flawed assessment. He is in the medical field so he has some expertise and experience and that can not be discounted.

But again. This was just a peripheral glance.

      Thanks

    2. 1) I think that because there is no information on the redaction it serves to solidify it. But I also remember this is real time as it happened so to me it is just factual history.

      2) the process is difficult for most lay people and I think the delineation of the steps and people involved would clearly demonstrate that.

      3) I explained this earlier. A great deal of my work and my knowledge of health came from medical books but also from naturopaths. If it weren’t for naturopathy I would not have a job as western medicine has turned it’s back on colon hydrotherapy. So I can’t discredit something I wholeheartedly believe is a valid field of medicine. This is for each person to decide but a lot of people come to naturopaths after MD’s have thrown up their hands and been able to effectively help them. Sooooo…… Again. Can not be discredited IMO.

I can’t say either way. The body is a miraculous art that is much more complex than medical books even grasp. And vaccines do not cause long-term immunity as clearly seen by the push to re-vaccinate the public for measles because what they believed would be a lifelong immunity has proved false. Again. These things are more complex than science can grasp. So to believe scientist have the “final answer” and vaccines are the best way is narrow-sighted at best.

Actually the flu does not mutate as rapidly as you think which is why they can create the “vaccine” ahead of the actual illness season. That they don’t hits the mark most often is because they can only guess at which strains will be “popular” any given season.

Please be more detailed as to which link is broken. This obviously was not purposeful and I am happy to correct it.

I would need to research the validity of your arguments and citations on herd immunity. Which I will gladly look at (but not today). I personally like to look at cause and effect as the primary model for noting if something works or doesn’t and from everything I’ve read about herd immunity it’s more glass and mirrors than actual statistical real world data. But let me get more sources for you and look at your sources before I tackle this.

I’ll take a look at the examples in E again and see if I can source something more detailed for you.

It’s fine for you to believe what you believe. My main qualm is that there is enough benefit of the doubt to allow for freedom of choice, but that doesn’t seem a luxury I will be able to have any longer.

Sorry…….I’m going through a lot on a personal level so my mind isn’t fully invested in this right now. But let me get back to you in a few weeks. Not like it really matters what you and I say anyway. This issue is too political and people are not well informed and just regurgitating what they are told to believe. So I don’t feel anything I say will really matter.
