This Year’s Love (- David Gray)

It’s a beautiful sunny day, 52 degrees with big puffy clouds, which I love so much, dotting the sky.

Brad and I are taking the two smallest muchkins to the kids museum tomorrow. Hoping it’s gonna be fun and not too much chaos considering it’s spring break.

I went to county services today to see about getting assistance with my utilities. The kind woman helping me was so sweet. She really went out of her way to make me feel welcome and know how much she wanted to help. Sometimes when you ask for help people have a way of making your life very difficult. Which just ads so much to the stress and pride swallowing you are already enduring.

Case in point: mid-child loves gymnastics and the squirt is really, really good at it. She had qualified to be at competitive level when her father and I (who split the cost) decided it was just too much money. Her coaches insisted we apply for the scholarships that they have available. But I kid you not…. the forms they want, the paperwork is worse than the IRS. Mounds from both parentals: two years of tax returns, pay stubs, expenses, bank statements. I’m like “DUDE!”. Even the government isn’t usually that ridiculous and I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with them extensively these last few years. Like it isn’t hard enough to just ask for the thing in the first place. Ugghhhh

It’s fine. Everyone has their difficulties in life. These just happen to be mine right now. All things considered I am happy and happiness thankfully is priceless and free. Yay!!

Wishing you happiness.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but it’s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol
