Aries

I can’t believe I’m almost 46. I had very few aspirations in life and I managed to fulfill all of one (so far); having kids. Probably also to be noted as the easiest one to create, for all of however many minutes that lasted. Lol. JK

I’m ok with being older actually. I still want to get a good exercise routine started, but barring that and figuring out my finances I’m pretty happy with myself and my life. Could things be better? Always. But this is me focusing on the positive. Age. Schmage. I think it’s always about perspective. I ain’t done here….yet.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing. Maybe because I have always been on the quiet and reclusive side; which most people may not guess at first glance or if seeing me in a social setting, especially around people I am comfortable with but it’s also not something I have an issue with. I need solitude to recharge. Writing gives me the peace and time to renew myself...here that is offered to you for your enjoyment and pleasure as well. I hope. Lol

  1. Not that I think 46 is old at all but I always thought you were more my age πŸ˜‚.
I guess it’s cause you seem familiar with teenage lingo so you seem pretty chill haha.
Besides, of course, I agree with you. Age is just a number. Aging is inevitable but maturity, well, you can figure that out yourself πŸ˜‰.

    1. Lol. You’re right maturity is something totally different. I don’t take myself or this life all too serious.

Plus you can be very serious and deep.

I of course don’t consider myself all that versed in teenage life. Whenever I try to be cool with the teenager she makes me very aware I am not that cool. Lol

      1. Yes. As you say, a person CAN be both, serious and know how to have a bit of fun too. Who says the two are mutually exclusive?
You just gotta know the time and place.
As for your teenager discouraging you, that’s what all kids do to their parents. They can’t see their parents in that light. I’ve been there πŸ˜‚.
And although I’m not a teenager anymore (darn it), I still think you’re pretty cool from what I know you ❀.
