Today I had a sweet young client who has been going through some harsh transitions. It’s made her strong and mindful of having to take care of herself. It’s taught her coping skills she can utilize and augment to her entire life. She said something I found poignant. I was going to ask her how she meant it but I hadn’t wanted to interrupt her. She said,
“It’s just as hard to make bad choices as it is to make good ones”
“Sometimes you don’t get to choose what you’re good at” – character in Better Things.
And lastly this one my daughter sent me this morning. I know in what context she means this…. still that silly blemish which she insists exists somewhere. Lol. So I find this quite funny and let’s be honest….. there was a reason I absolutely hated philosophy in college and dropped out. I found it retarded. Logic is too logical for it’s own good.
